Anna Hazare is coming to Uttarakhand on a two-day visit from February 13. In the state, he will address rallies in Srinagar and Tehri. Uttarakhand’s state coordinator of the anti-corruption movement Bhopal Singh Choudhury stated that Anna will reach state capital Dehradun on February 13, from where he will leave for Srinagar to address a rally on February 14 and on February 15 he will address another rally in Tehri.
The Padma Bhushan Social Activist Anna Hazare is well known for his various movements. He led many such movements to promote rural development, increase government transparency, and investigate and punish corruption spread in the society. People from all over the country never forget Anna Hazare for his biggest movement, he started a hunger strike on 5 April 2011 to exert pressure on the Indian government to enact a stringent anti-corruption law, The Lokpal Bill as envisaged in the Jan Lokpal Bill.
Once again Anna Hazare is all set to kick off another movement in New Delhi from March 23 seeking the appointment of Lokayukta. As expected a huge gathering will be there to support Hazare in his movement, where he will fast.
