The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released notification of Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination 2017. Applications are invited from the side of Indian Graduates under certain eligibility criteria.
Name of the Examination: Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination
Essential Qualification: Applicants are required to possess Bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science / Botany / Chemistry / Geology / Mathematics / Physics / Statistics / Zoology or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Forestry / Engineering from any Government recognized University or Institution.
Age Limit: 21 years to 32 years as on 1 August 2017 and relaxation in age will be provided to SC / ST / OBC candidates, as per rule of the organization.
Applicants are required to pay Rs. 100 as application fee either by depositing the fee in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) by cash or through online mode of payment. (SC / ST / PH and Female candidates are exempted from application fee payment)
